Blogging A to Z. Let's do this!

So despite, or perhaps in spite, of my current blucky blogging mood, I have once again  signed up to participate in Blogging A to Z in April.

I might just be crazy.

But I'm pretty sure it's the good sort of crazy!

I had a lot of fun last year with the posts which were memoiry and fun to write. I'm not sure of a theme for this year. I'm not niched into any sort of blog type. I write about all sorts of things and I plan on keeping it that way, so I'll see what I come up with. Although, honestly, I'm totally open for suggestions.

In addition to that I think I might take a crack at fatmumslim's photo a day again now that I've resolved my photo issues.

    1. Thanks and welcome! I haven't had much time to start going through the sign up list yet, but hopefully I'll be getting there soon!

  2. You're going to do both!?! I pray for your sanity. You know I'll be here to watch your slow decent into madness. Although, if you're going to commit to both, I may just try one. Maybe.

    1. I'd not do them in the same month...probably. And I think you should do one. Or both. In terms of the A to Z a lot of people write their posts prior to April and that way they can focus on commenting on other people's blogs. I'm hoping to do that this year. Last year I wrote my posts the day or two before for the most part. If I can come up with a decent theme before March, I'll make the attempt to prewrite as much as I can.

  4. I've been thinking about doing this. It seems pretty intimidating, though. Does everyone pick a theme?

    1. A theme is not a requirement. It can make ideas come more easily though and provide continuity to your posts. You can approach the Challenge in any way that suits you best.

    2. I think a theme give a cohesive shine over the challenge but as Arlee says it is in no way required.

    1. Valerie. Really? You don't think you'd be able to do it? You kill zombies for fun. You are a wizard, I think, too. And with all your superpowers I'm positive that you'd be able to do this!

  6. Heather- I am following you back! I really like your butterfly picture you have. I think I might try to pre-write some of my posts, so that way some of them might be better written than last year. Trying to think of a theme, too. Hmm...how about writing about a phobia for each letter of the alphabet? woudl u read it?

    1. Thanks! I think prewriting is the way to go. I'm going to make a concentrated effort to do as many as I can prior to April. As for a theme...I'm still searching for mine although I've got a couple ideas brewing. And I would totally read about phobias!

    2. Omg! You need a theme?! Wow... This is hard!

    3. A theme isn't required. A lot of people use themes to help keep a focus. I had a very loose theme last year that focused on my memories. You could totally do a theme based on how awesome you are.
