Friday Photos

It was my sister's birthday just a bit ago and all things being crazy - the end of the year, work (her's and my mom's, totally not mine), Girl Scouts and such, I lost track and ran out of time to bake her a cake, so I surprised her with cupcakes from my favorite cupcake store: Cami Cakes. Ridiculously sweet, oozing with gooey goodness and over flowing with icing. So very yummy. Never as good as homemade, of course, but a welcome treat nonetheless.

The one picked out especially for my sister: chocolate almond raspberry.

Mint Chocolate

The Elvis

Key Lime Pie

Peanut Butter Chocolate Cream

Toasted Coconut Pineapple

    1. In all my cupcake decorating years, I have never managed much more than a blob of frosting! So very envious! But so tasty!

    1. I had the key lime but Kirsten said the chocolate raspberry was good! Maybe we could try a couple of unique flavors when you get back to Florida!

    1. They are very cupcakey cupcakes! Heck, I forgot all about Father's Day...though I did make some cookies which made Scott happy. He's got a cookie weakness. It's good to know a man's weakness. :)

  4. I gotta say that my Little Sis is the best! These were fantastic and a great way to celebrate my birthday (that I would rather have forgotten about)and the girls gave me wonderful cards! Heathers homemade cakes are even better! It is great to have a Mom and Sis that cook so I don't have to!!!

    1. Too bad they don't ship. I can't imagine them lasting very long or well in the mail. I wonder how much bubble wrap and dry ice would be needed?
